Accu Cut Lawn Care & Landscaping is a growing commercial landscaping company focused on high-quality landscape installation and maintenance projects throughout Central North Carolina.

This is not just a “crew leader” position. We are looking for someone who can lead people, coordinate operations in the field, troubleshoot issues, communicate clearly, and help projects run efficiently from start to finish.
Position Summary
The Foreman is responsible for leading and coordinating landscape installation and maintenance crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to company standards.
This person serves as the primary field leader and communication hub between management and field crews. The Foreman ensures crews are prepared daily, understand project scope, have the correct materials and equipment, and complete work with excellence.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive landscaping knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and experience managing crews in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Responsibilities Crew Leadership & Field Operations
- Lead and manage landscape installation and maintenance crews daily
- Ensure crews arrive prepared and ready to work
- Coordinate daily field activities and assign tasks
- Hold crews accountable for productivity, quality, and professionalism
- Train and coach crew members
- Maintain a positive, hardworking team culture
Daily Coordination
- Coordinate schedules and assignments from the Operations Manager
- Ensure crews understand project scope and expectations before leaving the shop
- Confirm all tools, equipment, materials, and paperwork are loaded daily
- Communicate schedule updates, weather delays, and project changes
Project Execution & Quality Control
- Ensure projects are completed according to plans and specifications
- Read and interpret landscape and construction plans
- Inspect work quality and ensure company standards are met
- Maintain organized, clean, and professional jobsites
- Ensure punch list items and corrections are completed quickly
Problem Solving & Communication
- Troubleshoot field issues and solve problems proactively
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, inspectors, and management
- Handle onsite issues calmly and professionally
- Report delays, concerns, or project changes to management immediately
Safety
- Enforce jobsite safety standards
- Ensure crews operate equipment properly and safely
- Maintain organized and safe work environments
- Report accidents or damages immediately
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial landscaping experience
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of landscape installation and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret landscape and construction plans
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- CDL or equipment operation experience
- OSHA certifications
- Irrigation knowledge and troubleshooting experience
