Redeem These Ashes is a 501C3 nonprofit Christian ministry that emerged from the transformative journey of former Radio Host and Pastor, Joey Krol. After years of battling with pornography, which ultimately led to his arrest for a sex crime, Krol experienced a profound transformation while incarcerated. He found redemption and healing through Christ and dedicated himself to helping others break free from the devastating effects of sexual sin. Today, as a changed man, our Founder ministers to men and their families who have been impacted by this pervasive sin.

Our mission is to educate on the dangers of pornography, advocate for its removal, and offer hope and healing through Jesus Christ, who empowers us to live a life of freedom.
What We Do
- Free Accountability App: We are developing In the Light, a free app to help individuals remain accountable as they navigate freedom from pornography.
- Education and Awareness: Our founder shares his powerful testimony at churches and events, equipping others to find freedom in Christ.
- Support for Fallen Pastors: We minister to pastors and ministry leaders who have experienced moral failure, helping them rediscover hope, redemption, and a restored relationship with Christ.
About the Role
This is not a simple “post once a day” position. The Volunteer Director of social media provides leadership over Redeem These Ashes’ social media presence and helps shape how our message is communicated online. You will set the strategy, guide content direction, and ensure our platforms consistently reflect our mission and expand our reach. You will lead the team of two.
The vision for our social platform is simple: Tactfully educating on the dangers of sexual sin, celebrate stories of redemption, restoration and hope..and pointing people to Christ.
You will collaborate with leadership to align messaging with ministry priorities and ensure content is both effective and faithful to our mission.
Key focus areas include:
· Developing and executing a clear social media strategy across platforms
· Creating or overseeing content that educates, encourages, and equips
· Building a consistent brand voice rooted in truth and grace
· Highlighting testimonies, ministry resources, and calls to action
· Monitoring engagement and adjusting strategy based on performance
Time Commitment
This is a volunteer position requiring a flexible commitment of approximately 20 hours per month.
