Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver for a dedicated dry van route running Chicago ⇆ Los Angeles. This full-time OTR position offers steady miles, consistent scheduling, and long-term stability.
Duties
- Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on the Chicago–Los Angeles dedicated lane
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections (DOT compliant)
- Maintain accurate ELD/logbook entries
- Communicate with dispatch regarding updates or delays
- Load/unload freight when required (preferred but not mandatory)
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A with clean record
- 1+ year dry van experience required
- OTR/long-haul experience preferred
- Experience with reefer, flatbed, tanker, or dump truck is an asset
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations & Hours of Service
- Ability to work independently
