A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available, offering 100% remote work with a school-based focus. This 1099 contract position is designed for professionals with a minimum of two years’ experience in school settings.
Located in Birmingham, AL, this role allows full remote engagement while supporting students' speech and language development through telespeech services. Experience with virtual platforms is preferred but not mandatory, providing flexibility for candidates transitioning to or strengthening their virtual practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services remotely to school-aged children.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with Clinical and Technical teams to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational guidelines.
- Adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs within a virtual environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a school-based speech-language pathology role.
- Familiarity with telespeech or virtual therapy platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
