Your primary responsibility is to understand customer concerns, recommend appropriate services, and ensure a smooth, transparent process from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. With your automotive knowledge and sales skills, you'll help customers maintain their vehicles' peak performance while contributing to the growth of our dealership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical understanding with outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance procedures clearly, ensuring customers understand their options.
- Prepare detailed auto estimates using dealership management software, including services like oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmission repairs, diesel engine diagnostics, and auto body repairs.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance packages that enhance vehicle longevity and safety while providing value to customers.
- Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently at the point of sale.
- Maintain thorough records of service history, customer interactions, and repair orders for future reference.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive service management role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, shocks & struts, alignments, tire services, and diesel engine repair.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics and repair processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services ethically while maintaining customer trust.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
