Bella Ballerina RVA | Chesterfield, Short Pump & NEW Forest Hill
Do you love dance and working with children? Keep reading, as this may be the perfect role for you!
Bella Ballerina RVA is the area's premier dance studio for young children, serving dancers ages 18 months through 10 years old. We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable instructors to join our growing team for our Fall 2026 season, beginning August 30, 2026. Training would begin ASAP.
As a Bella Ballerina instructor, you'll teach the same weekly class days and times each week, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with your dancers and their families. We provide an extensive paid training program, a supportive team environment, and all of the tools you'll need to feel confident in the classroom. If you're looking for a fun, rewarding part-time job where you can inspire young children through dance, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As a Bella Ballerina instructor, you'll be assigned a consistent weekly schedule and teach the same classes each week throughout the season.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching engaging dance classes for children ages 18 months to 10 years
- Preparing your weekly classes using Bella Ballerina's curriculum
- Learning and teaching seasonal choreography provided by Bella Ballerina
- Creating a fun, encouraging, and professional classroom environment
- Communicating with families before and after class
- Depending on your assigned shift, assisting with studio clean-up at the end of the day
All instructors receive paid class preparation time, and you'll also receive paid administrative time each season to learn new choreography.
Paid Training
We believe great instructors are trained, not expected to know everything on day one.
Before teaching independently, every new instructor completes:
- Approximately 10 hours of paid at-home training
- Approximately 10 hours of paid in-person training
Our training program is designed to ensure every instructor feels confident, prepared, and supported before stepping into the classroom.
