Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trailer Fabrics Unload and Bailing Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading fabric from trailers manually, handling fabrics with care and sorting out the waste, and performing bailing operations to ensure proper storage and transportation. Your energetic approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support inventory management, and uphold safety standards.The unload per trailer is 450 dollars which you can do with 2 days to 4days maximum.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload fabric shipments from trailers to warehouse manually.
- Handle fabrics manually with proper techniques to prevent damage during unloading and bailing processes.
- Operate baling machines to compress fabrics into manageable bales for storage or shipment.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during manual handling and equipment operation.
- Assist with packaging, stacking, and organizing fabrics within the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Conduct quality control checks on fabrics during unloading and bailing to maintain high standards of inventory integrity and removal of waste fabrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating warehouse materials handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery like balers.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, packing, and order fulfillment with attention to safety.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, stock replenishment, and order picking & packing.
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Prior experience in warehouse supervision or managing warehouse distribution processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on quality control and efficient workflow management.
