American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of postpartum experience and active OH or compact RN license.

Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum unit in a large academic medical center setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

May be required to float to units of similar acuity

13-week contract

Active OH or compact RN license required

Current BLS and IV certifications required

Minimum 2 years of postpartum/Mother-Baby experience required

L&D experience required

Proficient IV start skills required

Epic EMR experience required

2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference — co-worker references are not accepted

Previous travel nursing experience is preferred

Local candidates are accepted

Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility

RTO must be requested upfront and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet as quickly as possible upon receipt
