We're looking for experienced Residential Lead & Service Electricians who can lead by example, deliver quality workmanship, and provide an exceptional customer experience every day.
What You'll Be DoingResidential Service
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Perform residential service calls from start to finish.
- Recommend solutions that keep customers safe while delivering outstanding service.
New Construction
- Wire new custom homes from rough-in through final inspection.
- Complete residential trim-outs including devices, lighting, ceiling fans, smoke detectors, and customer-supplied fixtures.
- Read plans and work efficiently with builders and other trades.
Remodels & Additions
- Wire home additions and renovations.
- Install new circuits, lighting, receptacles, switches, and specialty wiring.
- Perform panel upgrades, service changes, and electrical renovations.
Specialty Installations
- Whole-home generators
- EV Chargers

- Outdoor Lighting
- Smart Home Devices
Leadership
- Lead apprentices and help them become successful electricians.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship that passes inspections the first time.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and jobsites clean and organized.
- Represent J&E Electric professionally with every customer.
What We're Looking For
✅ 5+ years of residential electrical experience preferred
✅ Strong troubleshooting skills
✅ Experience wiring new homes from rough-in through trim
✅ Experience with remodels and additions
✅ Ability to run residential service calls independently
✅ Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills
✅ Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
✅ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
✅ Able to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors
✅ Pass background check and drug screening
