Responsibilities
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
- Maintains all required NPCA documentation in addition to any other state or customer required documentation
- Follow mixture designs and make adjustments to the concrete mixture as a result of moisture variations and ambient temperature fluctuations.
- Performs air, slump, and temperature checks on fresh concrete to ensure required specifications are met
- Completes all pre and post pour documentation for all products
- Prepares graphs or charts of data and enters data into computer for analysis
- Daily check of concrete mixer for operational status and mechanical readiness
- Calibration of scales
- Ordering of materials; cement, sand, stone
- Follow established company rules and regulations and safety procedures
- Operate a forklift
- In addition, individual may perform other duties as assigned and required
- ACI Level I certification preferred
- Pay negotiable depending on experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in batch processing
- ACI Level I Certification
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must possess math and organizational skills
- Must read and write English
- Possess good mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. as needed
- Must be reliable and exhibit good attendance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
