Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Medical Coordinator to join our Medical Department. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between medical providers, clients, and legal teams, ensuring the efficient coordination of medical services for personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. Your ability to manage complex case details, facilitate communication, and maintain accurate records will directly support case progression and client care. Responsibilities
- Coordinate medical care and treatment schedules for clients across various providers and facilities
- Schedule and confirm medical appointments, follow-ups, and specialist referrals
- Facilitate patient intake, case management, and discharge coordination to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Communicate regularly with healthcare providers, clients, and internal legal teams regarding treatment status and updates
- Assist with utilization review and ensure appropriate use of medical services in alignment with case needs
- Track treatment progress and follow up on outstanding medical reports and records
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in medical coordination, case management, or a similar role within a legal or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, treatment processes, and documentation standards
- Proven ability to manage intake processes and coordinate care efficiently
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external providers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
This role plays a critical part in ensuring our clients receive timely and well-coordinated medical care, contributing to the overall success of their cases.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
