CITY OF GLOBE
POLICE OFFICER / POLICE RECRUIT 26-17
Performs police patrol, investigation, traffic regulation, and related law enforcement activities, depending upon prior law enforcement training and experience.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by a 2-yr community college degree or vocational school training in political science, law enforcement, criminal justice administration, public administration, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements: Due to the confidential and sensitive nature of information handled, successful completion of a background investigation and polygraph examination is required. Candidates given a conditional job offer will be required to pass a pre-employment psychological evaluation, medical exam and a drug screen.
Desirable Qualifications: Some experience in law enforcement or college level course work in criminal justice or other law enforcement field.
