We are a national firefighting company with operating bases in Bend, Oregon, and Alaska, that are currently hiring a CRWB and/or ENGB and FFT1 preferably with ICT5 but not required.
An ideal candidate will reside within a 5-hour response time or less to our shop in Bend, Oregon, be physically fit and career professional. You must also be able to produce your training records including completed task books.
Wages:
- FFT1: BW $31.75 + $5.03 H&W = $36.78 for first 40 hrs. Overtime $47.62/hr (BW x 1.5)
100-hr work week example: $1471.20 + $2857.50 OT = $4,328.70
- CRWB/ENGB: BW $43 + $5.03 H&W = $48.03 for first 40hrs. Overtime (OT) $64.5/hr (BW x 1.5)
100-hr work week example: $1921.20 + $3870 OT = $5791.20
*BW = base wage
*H&W = health and wellness
- Note: H&W is only added for the first 40 hrs of a calendar week.
While we certainly have shoulder season work, most employment opportunities are from late June to mid-October depending on fire activity.
