Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Athletic Trainer to join our dynamic sports medicine team. In this vital role, you will provide expert athlete patient care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation services to enhance athletic performance and ensure optimal health. Your expertise in physiology, anatomy, and sports medicine will support athletes of all levels, from amateur to professional. Duties
- Assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries using sports rehabilitation therapy techniques and emergency care protocols
- Develop and implement injury prevention protocols tailored to individual athletes’ needs
- Provide health coaching on nutrition, body mechanics, and overall wellness to optimize athletic performance
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, physical therapists, and sports psychologists to coordinate athlete care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) documenting treatments, progress notes, and injury reports
- Educate athletes on anatomy, physiology, sports medicine principles, and proper training techniques to promote safe practices
- Administer first aid and CPR in emergency situations while ensuring adherence to safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans, recovery processes, and injury management strategies
Qualifications
- Valid license as an Athletic Trainer in accordance with state or national licensing requirements
- Proven experience working with athletes across various sports disciplines
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and sports medicine practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) or Basic Life Support (BLS) from recognized organizations
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate athletes effectively
- Ability to perform under pressure in emergency care situations while maintaining confidentiality of patient information
- Knowledge of nutrition principles related to athletic performance and injury recovery

Must have reliable transportation
Must attend aways games
Must be at all Football and Basketball Games
Teach One Health Medicine course per day
Monday through Friday position
Somedays may be long
Must have 3 years of license AT experience
