30hop Restaurant & Bar in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring Food Runners to join our front of house team.
We’re looking for dependable, team oriented people who enjoy staying active and working in a fast paced restaurant environment. Whether you have restaurant experience or are looking for your first restaurant job, you’ll be part of a team that works together to deliver food quickly, accurately, and keep service running smoothly.
30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.
Fully trained Food Runners earn $8.10 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning.
Schedule:

Full-time and part-time opportunities available

4-8 hour shifts

Availability needed from 4:00 PM to close Monday through Friday and throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays

What You’ll Do
-
Deliver food to Guests promptly and accurately while maintaining presentation standards
-
Verify food items and table numbers before leaving the kitchen
-
Communicate with the kitchen and service teams to help ensure accurate and timely food delivery

Respond to Guest requests and communicate missing items, concerns, or other needs to the appropriate team member
-
Keep food pickup and service areas clean and organized
-
Help clear and reset tables and maintain dining areas throughout service

Monitor restroom cleanliness and other Guest-facing areas as needed
-
Support Servers, Hosts, kitchen team members, and other team members during busy shifts

Follow food safety, sanitation, and service standards

Complete opening and closing duties as assigned

Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced restaurant environment

Ability to stay active and work efficiently throughout the shift

Attention to detail and ability to deliver orders accurately

Ability to work as part of a team and help where needed
