We have a career opportunity for a Tax Staff Accountant to join our team. The firm provides tax planning and compliance services to businesses, individuals, trusts and estates, and non-profit organizations. Further, the firm provides assurance and accounting services to closely-held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and retirement plans, among other industries.
Specific Requirements:
- 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting - business and individual returns
- CPA license or CPA eligible
- Knowledge of individual and business tax law and concepts
- Positive, professional attitude
- Willingness to share knowledge and assist others
- Display professional poise and demeanor
- The ability to work both independently and in teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Lacerte for tax and Quickbooks
- Achieve firm standards of productivity and realization
- Understand nature of assignments; summarize assignment back to supervisor
- Document findings in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to use professional judgment and independent thinking
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work product
- Strong organization skills; ability to multi-task
- Utilize feedback for constructive learning and prevent recurring feedback on the same matters
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
