Preschool / Daycare Teacher - Join our Team!
We are a Premier Pre-School in the Stone Oak area, and we are looking for EXCEPTIONAL teachers and caregivers! We are looking for Assistant and Lead Teachers to prepare small children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education. You will teach them important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life. A preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children. We have FULL TIME positions available in our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms! If you would like to be a part of positively influencing a child's life, we welcome you to apply!
High School diploma is required.
Assistant and Lead position(s) will be filled based on education and work history evaulation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
- Communicate with parents regularly at pick up and drop off
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills:
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- Balance between a creative mind and a practical adult
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds frequently.
- Comfortable sitting on the floor, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- High level of energy and stamina to engage with active infants and toddlers.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
