Our Supply Chain team plays an important role in supporting patient care by making sure supplies and equipment are in the right place at the right time. Team members help keep hospital departments stocked and organized, ensuring staff have what they need to care for patients. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll work closely with others, respond to day-to-day needs, and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are key to success in this role. From stocking supplies to delivering items and keeping inventory up to date, the team makes a meaningful impact on the overall patient experience.
How you’ll contribute
A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role:

Stock and maintain medical and office supplies across hospital departments using inventory systems and standard supply chain practices to support patient care.

Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and make appropriate adjustments in the system.

Monitor supply levels and submit requisitions to maintain established par levels.

Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments; log receipts, enter data into inventory systems, and distribute supplies to appropriate departments or facilities.

Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items, ensuring timely resolution.

Provide professional customer service by answering phones, assisting at the receiving dock and walk-up window, and routing inquiries appropriately.

Complete clerical and computer-based tasks that support daily operations and patient care delivery.

Distribute, track, and maintain patient care equipment to ensure availability and proper functioning.

Follow hospital policies and safety procedures related to handling, storage, and transport of supplies and equipment.

Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate supply support.
Schedule: Full-Time, Days. This position is fully on-site in Rutherfordton, NC.

What we’re looking for

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, sound judgment, and work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to maintain accuracy in stocking, receiving, and documentation.

Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems, inventory tools, and handheld devices.

Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) with strong customer service and teamwork skills when supporting hospital staff and patients.

Ability to meet physical job requirements, including lifting 20–30 lbs, and standing, walking, pushing, and pulling supplies for extended periods.

Willingness to learn, adapt, and complete required training and competency requirements in a healthcare environment.
