Overview:
The Data Entry Clerk at Ring of Hope will work closely with the Finance Manager and will be responsible for accurately inputting, managing, organizing, and maintaining operational and program-related data. This position will support daily administrative and youth enrichment operations by tracking staff hours, maintaining transaction logs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Coaching
- Accurately enter and maintain data within organizational databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems.
- Assist with entering and tracking invoices, receipts, and expense records.
- Monitor and maintain records related to staff hours, attendance, and operational documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial spreadsheets and transaction reports.
- Support payroll preparation by organizing staff timesheets and attendance records.
- Organize and maintain financial files for audits, grants, and compliance reporting.
- Organize, scan, copy, and file documents both electronically and physically.
- Assist Operations staff with clerical and administrative support as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of participant, staff, and organizational information.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Finance Manager and Operations Department as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous data entry, clerical, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and data management systems.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a youth-serving environment.
