Rockey Auction Services, located in Northumberland, PA is a full service auction house offering consignment auctions, truckload auctions as well as home clean out and removal services. We are looking for a dedicated person to join our team. The position requires a variety of abilities ranging from handyman services and general labor for various locations and properties along with warehouse, home clean out and janitorial experience and knowledge. This position is full time, mostly Monday through Friday with occasional weekends/on call for emergencies. We offer paid vacation after 1 year, paid holidays and after 6 months PTO/sick days, healthcare stipend and salary is based upon experience.

We are looking to add on to our auction/warehouse team. The warehouse crew member will be able to operate a pallet jack. He is able to help with sorting merchandise and preparing it to be cataloged for auction. The candidate will also need to pick bidder's items from invoice with accuracy. We offer home clean out service and estate liquidation. In this situation, the crew member will need to go to our client’s home with the warehouse team and help pack items, load items unto trucks and unload at warehouse. The crew member must have a valid PA Driver’s license. The crew member is also responsible for general warehouse housekeeping (ex. Cleaning floors, collecting cardboard for recycling, stacking pallets, etc). The general handyman position consists of light carpentry and home maintenance, plumbing, electrical knowledge would be a plus. This position is fast paced and ever changing. The candidate must be willing to jump in and help in other areas when necessary.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist existing warehouse employees with receiving merchandise, sorting and setting up merchandise for the catalog team.
- Assist warehouse crew with estate clean outs by helping to pack personal items and furniture and loading our trailers to be taken back to our warehouse.
- Perform other duties as necessary including but not limited to: assisting bidders with picking up their winning items, helping catalog crew with lifting or moving items when necessary.
- Organization of warehouse and general routine housekeeping of warehouse. This includes sweeping floors, gathering cardboard, stacking/moving pallets, etc.
- Provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack customer belongings
- Unload merchandise from trucks at warehouse
- Unload consignment items from truck. Tag and stage items accordingly.
- Assist in setting up auction merchandise and preparing for auctions whether online or live
- General light construction, electric and plumbing experience is a plus to help maintain several property locations owned by the company.
