Role summary:
The Senior Director, Inventory Management, provides strategic leadership to optimize inventory operations by aligning business objectives with customer needs. This role drives supply chain and replenishment process improvements, leveraging data and cross-functional collaboration to enhance cost efficiency and product availability. About the team:
The Walmart Inventory Execution team focuses on optimizing instock levels, inventory flow, and network efficiency to enhance service for Walmart Stores and Dotcom Fulfillment centers. This team drives strategies that improve product availability while maximizing inventory investment and asset utilization. By leveraging forecasting, supply chain management, and process improvement, the team supports effective replenishment and cost optimization. Collaborating across functions, they identify opportunities to enhance operations and deliver business objectives. The team is committed to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and maintaining high standards to support Walmart’s mission of providing value and availability to customers.
What you'll do:
- Provide strategic direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs to develop and implement effective inventory management plans.

Lead cross-functional teams to improve replenishment and supply chain processes, and optimize network flow and capacity

Aggregate forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities to support financial objectives

Maintain optimal inventory levels by balancing product availability with cost efficiency across stores and distribution centers.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address near term network flow opportunities while also planning for long term solutions

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business-related field and 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management,
Merchandising, or related field OR 8 years' of experience in Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or related field.
4 years' supervisory experience.
