Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assembly Technician Level 1 to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing mechanical components and subassemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment according to detailed schematics and blueprints.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute assembly tasks.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify component dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Handle manual tasks including fabrication, welding, soldering, and mechanical fitting with attention to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines and safety procedures.
- Support warehouse activities such as material handling, inventory management, and forklift operation when required.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes, fabrication techniques, welding, soldering, and machining.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety and ergonomic practices.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments including warehouse operations and material storage.
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) use and safety standards in industrial settings.
