This position manages the operations of a multi-product, bulk liquid marine and /or pipeline terminal. Directs inventory management, product quality assurance, community relations, regulatory compliance, assets protection, maintenance and capital projects, and supervision of terminal personnel and operations.

Conducts and supervises all operations in a safe and efficient manner to ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Responsible for effectively leading, developing, managing and motivating direct reports contractors and employees.

Enforces and oversees compliance of all Company Policies and Procedures.
-
Coordinate shipments into and out of facility’s tankage. Ensure correct product quality testing according to company procedures.

Conducts routine operation inspections.
-
Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all inventory and monitoring of product variations at their terminal.

Confirms meter calibration, line testing and other integrity programs as necessary and directed.

Schedules and coordinates terminal maintenance with terminal operators and third party contractors to ensure operational readiness.

Acts as Incident Commander for terminal in the event of emergency situation.

Maintains good communication with customer base.

Maintain a thorough understanding of all third party commercial contracts (TSAs) assigned to terminal.

Responsible for development, management and execution of yearly operating budget.

Develops capital projects and maintenance programs including costs and justification.

Oversight of all projects and activities at facility.

Ability to manage operating procedures, regulatory requirements and customer relations.

Ability to lead, mentor and empower subordinates to safely and effectively operate the terminal.

Ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner in written and oral communications with all levels and in various settings.

Ability to learn and effectively use company inventory management, HR, and support systems.

Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations related to bulk products.

Intermediate to advanced math skills are required.

Must be able to supervise contractors in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and experience with terminal automation software - such as Toptech - is preferred.

Minimum of (5) years’ of pipeline and/or terminaling experience is required.

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Up to 10% travel required.
