We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and organized. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support food service operations by ensuring that all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service times.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Help with bussing tables during peak hours to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.
- Participate in catering events as required, assisting with setup and breakdown of service areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including cleaning, cooking, and food handling techniques.
- Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration within the culinary team.
