American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of OR experience with neuro, ortho, robotics, and liver transplant skills.

Operating Room (OR) setting in a hospital with 16 staffed OR beds and an average daily census of 60
-
Night shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Neuro, orthopedic, robotic-assisted, and liver transplant cases are performed in this OR
-
Charting is performed using Epic
-
On-call requirement of one night per week from 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; call days may not align with scheduled shifts

All OR staff are required to take at least one Friday on-call shift

Holiday on-call required, either 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM

Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required, including to other facilities within a 75-mile radius

Block scheduling requests are not accommodated

Active OK RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

NRP preferred

Minimum 2 years of OR experience required

Experience with neuro, orthopedic, robotic-assisted surgery, and liver transplant cases is required (hard stop)

Cardiac monitoring knowledge required; EKG/Dysrhythmia competency testing will be assigned during the compliance process

Epic EMR experience preferred

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Valid driver's license (or state-issued ID) and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months are required for consideration

2 supervisory references required

Copies of all certifications required for consideration

RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per 13-week assignment; no holidays or blackout dates may be requested off

Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
