Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Decorative Concrete & Resinous Coating Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing intricate decorative concrete applications and resinous coatings that transform spaces into stunning, durable surfaces. Your expertise will help bring innovative design visions to life while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, grinding, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of decorative concrete and resinous coatings.
- Install a variety of decorative concrete finishes including stamped, stained, polished, and textured surfaces with precision and attention to detail.
- Apply resinous coatings such as epoxy, urethane, and polyaspartic systems in both interior and exterior settings, ensuring even coverage and flawless results.
- Operate a wide range of power tools and hand tools safely to cut, shape, and install materials according to project specifications.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and execute installations accordingly.
- Collaborate with team members on site to coordinate tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate material takeoffs and labor assessments for upcoming projects.
- Perform rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, and other related tasks as needed for comprehensive project execution.
- Conduct heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment or machinery such as concrete pumps or mixers safely on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while following safety standards at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in decorative concrete installation and resinous coating application within commercial or residential construction settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including operation of power tools, mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment relevant to concrete work.
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, framing carpentry (metal stud framing), flooring installation, tile laying, roofing basics, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work (including welding), restoration projects, plastering, stucco application, renovation processes, heavy lifting tasks, and the use of hand tools.
- Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites combined with the ability to operate heavy machinery responsibly.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving if required for site transportation or material delivery.
