Clubhouse Inn & Suites located in Topeka, Kansas is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Part-Time Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor! The Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor is responsible for assisting guests with their overnight requests. They will also reconcile all accounts, process invoices, prepare paychecks, provide check-in services to guests arriving at night, handle guest requests and take reservations.
Specific job responsibilities include:
- Provide check-in services to guests arriving at night
- Answer all customer questions in person and over the phone
- Respond promptly to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
- Inform appropriate hotel management of any urgent or escalated situations in a timely manner
- Accurately process customer monetary transactions
- Ensure the front desk area is neat and presentable at all times
- Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Balance cash drawers and log receipts
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
- Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
- Help prepare for forecasts and audits as necessary
- Various other responsibilities as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or experience in related field
- Basic knowledge of hotel processes
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Skilled with attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, multi-tasking, self-motivation, organization, customer relationship building, time management and computer application literacy
