Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical field with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various electrical components. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment, contributing to overall production efficiency.
Duties
- Serve as the working lead, directing daily work activities while actively participating in installation labor.
- Own job timelines and installation quality, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
- Adjust crew assignments, sequencing, and work methods in real time to keep jobs on track.
- Install wiring and conduit followed by machine start-up and tuning.
- Onsite machine troubleshooting and repair.
- Building and installing new electrical panels along with running conduit and wire on industrial machines in house.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, ensuring optimal running conditions.
- Collaborate with other technicians and management to meet specific timelines.
- Adhere to electrical schematics and component selections.
- Implement inspections on new builds and adhere to company quality control processes.
- Conduct tests to detect faults in electrical circuits and components.
- Assist in the installation of new machines in the field are a possibility dependent on experience.
Skills
- 5+ years of leader experience
- 5+ years electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical prints and layout.
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Experience as an industrial electrician with a focus on safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge related to various industrial applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to travel is optional for the right candidates
