Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including commercial spaces, hospitals, and other facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for both employees and clients.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Follow OSHA regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist with custodial duties in hospital settings as required, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks performed and any incidents that occur during shifts.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques.
- Familiarity with environmental services standards in healthcare settings is preferred.
- Ability to effectively sanitize surfaces and maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods while standing or moving.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
