Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled lead engineer to help oversee our maintenance team for the evening shift to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hotel maintenance, leadership abilities, and a strong mechanical background.
Duties: Coordinate work for the maintenance staff including hands on repairs, answering guest calls and being the main contact for the other departments when it comes to maintenance issues. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues including HVAC, Chiller, Plumbing and Electrical problems. Being the point person in case of broken water pipes and fire emergencies and other major events. Communicating issues with the Director of Engineering as needed.
Skills: Proficiency in low and high voltage wiring, Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints, strong mechanical and HVAC knowledge for trouble shooting and repairs. Experience maintaining and operating a pool. Prior supervisory experience is a must. Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
