Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with genuine enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
- Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
- Assist guests with special requests, dietary needs, or seating preferences to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless guest flow and service delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or restaurant settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services environments is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and hospitality standards is advantageous
