Pay, Schedule & Location
Pay: $25 to $28/hour
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Location: Columbus, OH (Metro Area)
What You’ll Do
Full-Cycle Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding)
Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles
Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
Deliver a strong candidate experience that fosters engagement starting throughout the hiring process
Hiring Manager Partnership
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and staffing goals
Provide insights on labor market trends, candidate quality, and hiring strategies
Coordinate interviews and support selection and hiring decisions
Compliance, Reporting & Process Management
Ensure compliance with EEO, employment laws, and hiring regulations
Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, applicant flow, hires, etc.)
Manage offers, background checks, and pre-employment processes
Community Engagement & Employer Branding
Represent Goodwill at job fairs, hiring events, and community partnerships
Develop relationships with workforce agencies, nonprofits, and local talent pipelines
Promote employer brand through outreach and networking
Qualifications
Education & Experience
1–3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR experience
Experience in high-volume or retail recruiting preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of employment law, compliance, and hiring best practices
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook
Strong organization, time management, and decision-making skills
Work Environment
Office-based role with moderate noise levels
Regular interaction with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners
Participation in off-site recruiting events and job fairs
