Job Title: Pipefitters & Pipe Welders

Position Overview:
We are hiring experienced Pipefitters and Pipe Welders for a long term industrial project in the Northlake area. This position involves working with Carbon Steel Tig (GTAW) piping and Stainless Steel TIG (GTAW) piping. Candidates must be skilled, safety-focused, and capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Fit, weld, and install carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems
- Perform Tig welding (GTAW) on carbon pipe
- Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel pipe
- Read and interpret blueprints, isos, and mechanical drawings
- Ensure welds meet required quality and code standards
- Assist with pipe layout, cutting, prepping, and fitting
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with supervisors and trades to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter and/or Pipe Welder
- Skilled in Carbon Tig welding and Stainless TIG welding
- Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and isometric prints
- Must provide your own Tig rig
- Strong safety awareness and reliability
- Ability to work 60 hours per week
Compensation:
- $38/hour
- 60 hours per week guaranteed
