We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide individualized care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support students with special education needs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any incidents that occur during class.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in child care or early childhood education, preferably as a teacher or nanny.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Experience working with students who require special education support is a plus.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively handle various classroom situations.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their growth.
- CDA is strongly desired. Must be willing to obtain CDA if none.
