Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model across Amex Offers, Advertising, Dining and Marketing Technology.
The Enterprise Comms & MarTech Experiences (ECMX) team is a global organization that sits within Membership Portfolio Services (MPS). It is American Express’ marketing services center of excellence with the charter of powering high quality, efficient, user-centric digital marketing experiences that accelerate business growth through optimized enterprise MarTech & MarOps solutions.
You will be joining ECMX’s MarTech organization, focused on providing frictionless, flexible, and flawless marketing and servicing experiences.
You will be part of a team that is responsible to create/manage products supporting the segmentation, targeting & eligibility domains using MarTech Customer Data Platform (CDP) across 24 Global markets. This team will play a critical role in overall Marketing targeting audience setup, execution and fulfillment of marketing offers across multiple channels.
In this role you will own the product roadmap and strategic vision. You will partner with colleagues in Product, Engineering, and the Business to inform and drive forward the product roadmap. An ideal candidate will be interested in product management, technology modernization, and Mar-Tech Products like Customer Data Platform (CDP). The candidate should be a quick-learner, curious problem solver and adept to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- 6+ years of Product Management or related digital product experience, with demonstrated leadership of complex enterprise platforms or products.
- Demonstrated experience defining and executing multi-year product strategies and roadmaps for large-scale digital, data, marketing technology, or customer engagement platforms.
- Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and related capabilities, including customer profiles, identity resolution, segmentation, audience management, targeting, eligibility, and activation.
- Experience leading large-scale technology modernization or platform transformation, including migration from legacy capabilities to modern platforms.
- Proven ability to translate business strategies and customer needs into platform capabilities, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading products that depend on complex data ecosystems, integrations, APIs, and enterprise technology architectures.
- Strong understanding of modern Product Management practices, including discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, outcome measurement, and Agile delivery.
- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and navigate complex dependencies across Product, Engineering, Data, Architecture, Marketing, Operations, and other enterprise functions.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing Product Managers and/or cross-functional product teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Real-Time CDP, or comparable enterprise Customer Data Platforms.
- Deep knowledge of customer identity, audience segmentation, targeting, eligibility, personalization, decisioning, and real-time customer profile capabilities.
- Experience building or managing marketing data products, or self-service audience/data capabilities.
- Experience with real-time and event-driven architectures, including streaming customer data and real-time audience activation.
- Experience operating shared enterprise platforms across multiple businesses, channels, and global markets.
- Familiarity with modern cloud data architectures, APIs, data pipelines, data quality, metadata management, and data governance..
Experience establishing platform governance and operating models for capabilities shared across multiple business units.
