Duties
- Provide daily pet sitting services, including feeding & administering medication
- Engage pets with playtime, exercise, and mental stimulation to promote their well-being.
- Assist with dog training techniques to reinforce good behavior and socialization skills.
- Monitor pet health and behavior; communicate any concerns or abnormalities to pet owners or veterinary professionals.
- Perform basic pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when needed.
Experience
- Prior experience in pet sitting or animal care roles is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dog handling, dog training, and animal restraint techniques is essential.
- Veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus, especially with medical procedures or medication administration.
- Experience working with various animals including dogs, cats, and equines (horses) is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and provide updates on their pets’ well-being.
Pay: $21.83 - $26.29 per hour
