Typical task breakdown:
- Managing VMI kanban and inventory levels
- Being assigned projects to be the buyer on – we are project based rather than commodity, so they will work with multiple vendors per project
- Managing a vendor relationship typically through bi-weekly meetings
- Any ad hoc requests that might come in
- Indirect management
Interaction with team:
- Comfortable reaching out to team for help
- Willing to provide a team member with support (i.e. providing backup when out of the office or willing to help with workload when/if needed)

Team Structure
- 4-5 peer buyers supporting Manufacturing organization
Work environment:
- Onsite. 5 days in the office at our Alpharetta facility
- Office environment with a production floor that they will sometimes be required to go out to
- 95% office 5% shop floor
- Composite/Steel toe shoes and safety glasses. The shoes will not be provided by Client
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 5+ years
- Degree requirement: Bachelors
- Open to 2 year degree with 9+ years experience
- Open to Master’s with 3 years experience
