Company: Mountain Regional Equipment Solutions (MRES).
Location: Central Denver, CO, and field services throughout the Western US.
About MRES:
Mountain Regional Equipment Solutions (MRES) provides sales, installation, maintenance, and technical support for automatic lubrication systems, active and passive safety systems, camera and monitoring systems, radar and object-detection systems, fire suppression equipment, and related maintenance products. We support customers in heavy equipment, construction, mining, vocational trucking, transportation, cranes, rail, and industrial applications throughout the Western United States.
MRES is a distributor and service provider for systems including Groeneveld-BEKA automatic lubrication, Orlaco camera systems, Brigade safety systems, PreView object-detection systems, and fire suppression equipment.
About the Position:
MRES is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Field Service Technician in the Denver area. This position works both in the shop and at customer locations to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the systems we support. The right candidate communicates well, takes pride in clean work, makes sound decisions in the field, and can be trusted to represent MRES professionally in front of customers.
This is not a standard 8-to-5, shop-only position. Field service schedules are driven by customer needs, equipment availability, travel requirements, and job completion. Early starts, extended days, occasional schedule changes, and out-of-town travel are part of the position.
Job Responsibilities:
· Install, inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair automatic lubrication systems on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment.
· Install and service camera and monitor systems, active and passive safety systems, radar and object-detection systems, backup alarms, and fire suppression systems.
· Work with systems and products including Groeneveld-BEKA, Orlaco, Brigade, PreView, and similar equipment.
· Route grease lines, hoses, electrical wiring, camera cables, harnesses, brackets, fittings, and system components cleanly and professionally.
· Mount pumps, cameras, sensors, displays, nozzles, tanks, brackets, control boxes, and related components.
· Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pressure, grease-delivery, visibility, sensor, alarm, and system-communication issues.
· Work on loaders, excavators, haul trucks, dozers, road trucks, concrete trucks, trailers, cranes, and other customer equipment.
· Provide professional customer support, technical guidance, and basic instruction regarding system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
· Complete work orders, service reports, job photos, parts-used documentation, equipment history, and customer communication accurately and on time.
· Maintain the assigned company truck, tools, parts inventory, and work area in a clean, organized, and professional condition.
· Follow MRES safety procedures and customer-site requirements, including applicable MSHA, OSHA, DOT, and company-specific standards.
· Communicate schedule changes, delays, job issues, parts needs, and customer concerns to management promptly.
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.
· Strong mechanical aptitude, practical problem-solving ability, and comfort working around heavy equipment.
· Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and basic diagnostic equipment safely.
· Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned work, and make good decisions in the field.
· Clear communication and professional customer-service skills.
· Dependable attendance and the ability to report to work on time.
· Willingness and ability to work field-service hours, including early starts, longer days, and occasional schedule changes.
· Willingness and ability to travel for out-of-town assignments when scheduled.
· Valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
· Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, crawl, kneel, and work safely in and around heavy equipment and varying environmental conditions.
· Ability to meet company and customer site-access requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, construction equipment, mining equipment, cranes, or industrial equipment.
· Experience with automatic lubrication systems such as Groeneveld-BEKA, Lincoln, Graco, or similar systems.
· Experience with camera systems, object detection, radar, backup alarms, safety technology, or fire suppression systems.
· Basic 12V/24V electrical troubleshooting experience.
· Experience reading diagrams; routing hoses, grease lines, and wiring; drilling and tapping; mounting brackets; and installing fittings.
· Welding or fabrication experience.
· MSHA, OSHA, mine-site, or previous field-service experience.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate shows up on time, works hard, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of the job. We are looking for someone who can be trusted in front of customers, can work through problems without constant supervision, understands that field service requires flexibility, and takes pride in completing work correctly the first time. This position is best suited for someone seeking a long-term opportunity who enjoys working around heavy equipment and wants to grow their technical skills.
Benefits:
· Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and skill level.
· Overtime opportunities.
· Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
· Company-matching retirement plan.
· Paid technical and product training.
· Paid holidays, paid time off, vacation pay, and bereavement leave.
· 100% paid approved travel expenses.
· Company-provided vehicle or service truck, depending on position setup.
· Company-provided specialty tools and tool reimbursement program.
· Training, advancement, and long-term growth opportunities.
Employees are required to supply their own basic hand tools and power tools. A required tool list will be provided during the hiring process. MRES will provide specialty tools specific to the products and systems we support.
Work Expectations:
Field technicians are expected to be reliable, punctual, professional, safety-minded, and flexible. Schedules may change based on customer needs, job requirements, travel, and operational demands. Out-of-town travel and extended workdays are required when assigned, and daily communication with management is expected.
