Job Overview:
A very busy, kind and respectful Principal is seeking an experienced, proactive, and
exceptionally organized Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and
well-run home outside of Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for someone highly self-directed who
takes initiative and enjoys caring for a home.
The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience, take genuine pride in their
work, while also being efficient, trustworthy, and detail-oriented. You will work in collaboration
with a House Manager to ensure the home is impeccably clean, well-stocked, and functioning
efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
● Housekeeping & General Cleaning:
○ Routine cleaning of high-touch surfaces/areas (dusting, wiping surfaces, cleaning
floors, etc.)
○ Full cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and living spaces on a rotating
basis
○ Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
○ Changing bed linens and making beds
○ Special deep-cleaning projects as needed (e.g., inside ovens, fridges, etc.)
● Laundry & Wardrobe Care:
○ Laundry washing, folding, and ironing
○ Organizing clothing, linens, and seasonal wardrobe rotation
○ Managing dry cleaning drop-offs and pick-ups (in conjunction with the House
Manager)
● Organization & Inventory:
○ Regularly declutter and maintain organizational systems (closets, kitchen, pantry,
storage)
○ Track stock of household essentials (toiletries, cleaning supplies, pantry items,
linens, etc.)
● Household Oversight & Support:
○ Assist in maintaining outdoor furniture and spaces (in partnership with House
Manager)
○ Support occasional home resets, cleanouts, or household projects
○ Communicate clearly with the House Manager to stay aligned on schedules,
needs, and household priorities
Requirements:
● Proven experience in professional housekeeping or private household roles
● Excellent organizational and cleaning skills with strong attention to detail
● Ability to self-manage time, tasks, and shifting priorities
● Discretion, integrity, and reliability
● Valid U.S. work authorization
● Must pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working in high-end private residences
● Knowledge of environmentally friendly cleaning methods and products
