Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including drink service, wine pouring, and cocktail preparation in accordance with safety standards
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transactions processing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, especially in fine dining environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for order processing
- Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail mixing, and drink presentation is advantageous
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food prep or assisting kitchen staff when needed
