Role: Senior Project Manager II
Location: Remote (Must be available to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT)
Contract: 6 months Contract to Hire
Rate: $41.37/hour W2
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional enterprise initiatives in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment. This role is ideal for someone who has consistently delivered large-scale projects, excels at navigating ambiguity, and can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Success in this role is defined by the ability to drive projects to completion, build alignment across multiple teams, and clearly communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise projects from initiation through successful delivery.

Develop project charters, project plans, communication plans, status reports, and other project documentation.

Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource coordination.

Drive execution across multiple business and technology teams within a complex matrixed organization.

Establish structure and direction for projects with evolving requirements or ambiguous objectives.

Identify, manage, and resolve project risks and issues while escalating appropriately.

Communicate project progress, decisions, and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise initiatives (equivalent delivery experience will also be considered).

Proven history of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects from planning through execution.

Experience working within large, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholder groups.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively to executive audiences.

Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while driving projects to completion.

Experience managing project dependencies across multiple workstreams.

Self-starter with strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience within pharmacy, healthcare, or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) environments.

Experience supporting business operations or strategic initiatives.

Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
