Pay Details:
- Local Pay Rate: $71/hr
- Traveler Weekly Gross: $2,769/week (includes stipends)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and sterile field
- Monitor patients and record vital signs during procedures
- Ensure proper imaging techniques and radiation safety
- Support pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
Requirements:
- Active Texas (TX) License
- ARRT and RCIS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technician experience
- Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures
- IR (Interventional Radiology) experience preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification
On-Call Requirements:
- Rotating on-call: 12–15 days per month and every other weekend
- Call hours:
- Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Weekends: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour coverage)
