Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information, and offering excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient health outcomes
- Provide immunizations and other medical services
- Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriateness
- Oversee pharmacy technicians' work activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- State pharmacist licensure in good standing
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Experience in areas such as utilization review, patient care, aseptic technique, ICU, pain management, pediatrics, and medical management is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
