Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This role is crucial in upholding the standards of cleanliness and presentation within our establishment, contributing to an exceptional experience for all.
Weekends and holidays are required.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free from dust and debris.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to maintain guest comfort.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning various types of surfaces, including carpets, hardwood floors, and upholstery.
- Assist in laundry duties as required, ensuring proper handling of linens and garments.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping principles in a hospitality setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
