What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Removables Technician, you will play a vital role in crafting, repairing, and modifying custom removable dental prosthetics to help patients smile with confidence.
Full-Scope Fabrication: Fabricate, repair, and modify complete dentures, partial dentures, splints, and implant-supported dentures.
Precision Craftsmanship: Read and interpret doctor prescriptions and preferences, meticulously following instructions for each custom case.
Hands-On Processing: Pour and trim models, select materials (acrylics, resins, metals), set partial/full denture teeth, wax, process, finish, and polish restorations to perfection.
Mastery of Lab Tools: Utilize articulators, waxing instruments, flasking devices, and polishing equipment. (Experience with dental lab software and digital workflows is a huge plus!)
Quality & Collaboration: Perform strict quality checks, prioritize deadlines and rush cases, and communicate case details openly with team members and management.
Clean & Safe Workstation: Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized area, following all safety and infection control protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven Removables Experience: Demonstrated background working in a dental lab with expertise in splints, partial denture teeth set-up, processing, finishing, and polishing.
Technical Mastery: Solid knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, esthetics, and lab equipment.
Attention to Detail & Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with delicate components and fine manipulation.
Great Mindset: Strong organizational and time-management skills, a team-first attitude, and the ability to thrive during fast-paced shifts.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional dental laboratory certification/education is a plus).
Physical Capabilities: Comfortable sitting/standing for extended periods, performing light lifting when needed, and working in a dynamic lab environment.
