Job Overview:
The Mechanical Engineer Intern will support our Quality and Aftermarket Sales teams. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in engineering, quality assurance, and customer-focused sales processes within a manufacturing environment. The internship is 2 months in duration and provides exposure to both technical and business aspects of water control systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Quality team with inspection, testing, and documentation of metal fabricated gate products.

Support analysis of product failures, warranty claims, and field issues to identify root causes.

Help prepare technical reports and recommendations for quality improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with the Aftermarket Sales team to support customer inquiries, technical documentation, and product updates.

Maintain accurate records of parts, service activities, and customer feedback.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand product performance and customer requirements.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and designs
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Basic knowledge of quality management principles and inspection techniques.

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CAD experience is a plus.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
