Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of work.
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) issues on industrial machinery, including high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
- Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems, electrical panels, low/high voltage equipment, and facilities infrastructure to identify potential issues early.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with facilities management to oversee building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and security systems for optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven management experience leading maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, schematics interpretation, and HVAC systems.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools such as the ohmmeter for electrical testing.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for scheduling work orders, tracking maintenance history, and managing inventory.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems as well as general facilities management standards.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining focus on safety and quality.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster leadership qualities in others, and communicate effectively in English across diverse groups.
