Maintenance Technician

Salary: $22-$25 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; On-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Residential Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will keep our residential communities safe, functional, and inviting. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of systems and facilities to ensure residents enjoy a comfortable living environment. Your mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills will be essential as you address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and fixtures
- Complete work orders in a timely manner, prioritizing emergency situations as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including turnover repairs and cleaning coordination
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including after-hours as part of an on-call rotation
- Perform snow removal duties, including plowing and ice management
- Maintain and service seasonal and property equipment
- Coordinate with management on maintenance priorities and property conditions
- Work with third-party vendors for specialized repairs when necessary
- Maintain organization of tools, equipment, and maintenance areas
- Document all work performed to ensure accuracy and reduce liability
Experience
- Prior maintenance experience in residential or property management preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on repair over replacement
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required and ability to work between multiple properties
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
