Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pre-pipe / Ventless Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining ventless and pre-piped fire supression hoods. Your expertise will ensure that all systems meet safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and connect pre-piped systems and ventless appliances following detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Conduct thorough inspections of piping, ventless units, and related components to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation.
- Read fire supression blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the installation process to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspection results for project records.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to ventless systems or piping installations.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication equipment safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues on-site.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork interaction.
