Project Manager – Security Systems
Location: Northern California - Bay Area
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of integrated security system projects across Northern California. This role is responsible for managing installation projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple security installation projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, and customer expectations are met.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, and resources to support successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Attend site and construction meetings, liaising with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, permits, and project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and oversee quality assurance throughout project delivery.
- Lead, support, and develop installation teams through coaching and performance management.
- Produce project updates, forecasts, and progress reports.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and collaborate with the sales team where appropriate.
About You
- 3–5+ years' experience managing security systems or low-voltage installation projects.
- Strong knowledge of integrated security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire/life safety systems.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and industry standards.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and industry software such as Genetec, Lenel, and D-Tools is desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems effectively, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
